We recently received a beautiful tribute from Wilde by Design client Joan Shields. We think it captures a lot of the Wilde by Design approach when it comes to crafting a wedding veil, so we thought we'd share it with you.
"I feel very fortunate to have recently celebrated my dream wedding in Sicily and to have Jill Wilde custom design a stunning wedding veil for me. After a lot of searching I had found my perfect dress designed by Temperley. Working with Jill meant I was able to crown it with a veil that did it justice and more!
"Jill was great to work with – she really listened to my ideas of what I wanted and provided suggestions also of what she thought would suit my face and the dress style. Because it was custom designed she was able to design a veil that matched the fabric and picked up on details such as the diamante on the dress. Fabric is important to me and my dress was in silk. Jill took the trouble to create me a real silk veil – a very delicate fabric to work with – which was embellished with the most beautiful hand stitched lace with subtle diamante detail. The detail on the train was also absolutely gorgeous – I felt (and was told I looked!) like a queen wearing it.
"I love the fact that my veil was unique to me rather than a mass produced nylon affair and it will make a lovely heirloom. I would really recommend Jill’s service to brides to be – it is a really lovely experience to create something unique in consultation with someone so talented at such a special time."
